You can improve the appearance of your skin by eating more foods containing these vitamins. Vitamins C and E and antioxidants like ellagic acid and grape seed extract can get you rid of pigmentation spots. You can find them in large quantities in citrus, strawberries, kiwi, tomatoes and pomegranates.

Pigmentation becomes more visible if you spend a lot of time in the sun. To protect your skin from ultraviolet rays, eat foods rich in antioxidants: berries, grapefruit, pineapple, plums, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, hot pepper, spinach and buckwheat. Skin hyperpigmentation may be an indicator of vitamin deficiency in the body, especially vitamin B12.

Natural remedies that you can try at home

Honey and dandelion – Freckles can be diminished with the help of a dandelion. In a bowl, put a teaspoon of dried flowers and a teaspoon of crushed stems and mix them with lemon juice and a spoonful of honey. Then apply the mixture on your face. Leave to act for 10 minutes, then wipe with a wet towel. Apply this treatment for two to three times a week.

Lemon with rose water – If you have spots on your skin, rose water is the right remedy. You should prepare a mixture of 2 tablespoons of flour, 2 tablespoons of rose water and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Apply mask on face and let it act for 20 minutes. Finally, rinse your face with warm water.

Remember! If you have brown spots on the face, try the chamomile infusion. Over 2 teaspoons of dry plant, pour 1 cup of boiled water. Leave it to cool, then apply to the skin in the affected areas.
